Procedure Step Description Required Documents
1 Go to the department of forestry and produce an export licence, CD1 form and phytosanitary certificate.    
2 Exporter then fills a permit application form which is found at the department and pay MK2000.00.   
3 Exporter should inform the licencing officer the legality of the product to be exported as regards its source.   
4 After approval by the licencing officers which takes five working days a permit is issued whose validity is 21 days and a fee of MK5000.00 is paid for the permit.
